Caucuses bring local Democrats together to meet with candidates, find out about ways to volunteer, and talk about how we’re going to win elections up and down the ballot. We also take care of party business, such as electing local leadership, county committee members, and state convention delegates. Caucuses represent grassroots organizing at its finest!
In 2024, Democratic caucuses are taking place on February 3 or 4, depending on where you live. Waldo County Democrats are scheduling caucuses for every town, although some caucuses in neighboring towns may share a location. The caucus schedule will be posted on our Caucus Page in mid-December.
Caucuses are a great way to kick off the campaign season and get involved in electing Democrats at every level of government.
