WCDC held its much-anticipated Democratic Candidates for Governor Forum on Sunday, September 14, at Mount View High School in Thorndike with about 200 area residents attending.
Moderated by acclaimed Maine journalist and author Murray Carpenter, the forum featured five dynamic Democratic candidates who’ve joined the race for governor: Shenna Bellows, Jason Cherry, Troy Jackson, Angus King III, and Hannah Pingree. The candidates introduced themselves and answered questions submitted by the audience for two hours.
Audience members also had the opportunity to chat with candidates at an informal reception following the forum.
